Post would u guys recommend the GanzFlow CAI??

hey whats up guys? well, i am thinking about getting Larry's "GanzFlow" CAI...I was just wondering if anyone has had problems with it, or would recommend it? I just want some feedback about it before I go for it. What are some other intakes that are good quality? any helpful info would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Similar intake to the Ganzflow yet cheaper is the one offered by PDM Racing.

That said, BOTH are great intakes, and offer the greatest bang for the buck apparently. I'm content with my Minnam intake.

Final word, in my opinion, Cobb Tuning's intake is probably THE best. But mucho $$ and apparently there's quite a wait for it.

So to answer your question in a more direct manner, yes, by all means go ahead and purchase the Ganzflow. You won't be disappointed that's for sure.

Larrys intake is just awesome...The sound is reason enough to pay $140 for it...Preformance is better too. I used to feel the powerband drop off at 5.6k rpms, now I feel it go slowly lower, but not a drastic 'drop-off' like before. Also, if there is ANYTHING wrong with the intake or you need ANYTHING Larry has the best customer service I have EVER delt with.

Thumbs up

Larry's intake is a great addition to the RS. I just installed it on my girlfriend's '00 RS a few weeks ago. The sound is excellent and it pulls much harder from about 3,000 rpms and up. I would recommend it to anyone.

Good to see another person moving to the Ganzflow circle. I'm sure you're going to be pleased. Not only is the intake great, but, as Scooby_WL mentioned, he's a good guy with great service.

Cool

Get the Ganzflo you won't be disappointed. I have had the CAI intake for a week and have noticed that I get a better gas mileage and a better response from the car. When I looked at the tripometer before the Ganzflo I would reach 230 miles with a 1/4 tank left now I reach 280 miles with a little over 1/4 tank left. I feel this is the best intake for the money and the power. The sound I didn't notice because of my exhaust but before I had an exhaust I thru a K&N cone filter on the throttle body and it sounded sweet like it had a turbo (wamp psss). But, lost the low end torque. I have no experience with any other filters but I wouldn't trade this one in for anything else.

ganzFLOW!!! ganzFLOW!!! ganzFLOW!!!

Get it, you won't regret it! I've had mine on for about 5k miles now, and I still LOVE it! And Larry is a great guy, with great service. I bought his intake, and one of his short-throw shifters, and both times the stuff came super quick with no problems. I would highly recomend him!

Skylab,
$140 if you include the cost of a high performance panel filter.

The gains from the intake alone made such a big difference! I thought it was just me, but I had a friend test it out. He had driven my car before when it was stock. I got the intake and had him test it out a few days later, but I didn't tell him I got an intake. He immediately noticed a change in the car's performance. Of course, with a filter, it got even better! For the price and the gains, you just can't beat it!

I love mine, I am now getting over 300 miles per tank with mixed driving...a recent highway trip gave me over 350 miles, worked out to over 25mpg. This is with the Amsoil too.

datpnoy2nv, you could always get the TEC-II (or similar equipment) and get rid of the MAF/MAS in exchange for a good ole MAP ! Of course, for MUCH less, you can always get the Rallispec CAI.
