Post Friend needs help with 2001 2.5 rs coupe...

Alright, my friend got a 2001 2.5 rs coupe. I got some questions to help him learn to drive it better. First of all, does the clutch/shifter break in at all? Both are nothcy. The shifter isn;t all bad, but clutch is extremely short! Will this break in, or get easier to use? I am used to driving a stick(pretty good) and he is just starting. The clutch has almost no space to adjust. very hard to ease into gears, anyone have tips on how to use it better? Does it just require a LOT of practice and getting used to? thanx lot, BYE

It takes time for sure. Just go drive a lot, learn the car and clutch at the same time. The shifter does mellow out a little bit, and the clutch is always like that. It always fools my friends and they stall at least once.

Crossposting is a no-no here. Next time you want to ask about two different things, post two different questions in two different forums, not the same question in two different forums.
