The 2003 WRX uses 9007 bulbs, which are a dual filament unit for both the high and low beams. So if you replace the 9007 with a HID unit, you lose the high beams. Of course there's so much light that you may not need the high beams, and you can replace the fogs with driving lights to become your high beams.

But be aware that the HID lights do have more glare for oncoming drivers, and are not legal.

try and check the web under HID convertion Kit. I'm doing research on my 94 accord & I just saw some on the net with the Hi & Low together working I'll keep My eyes on it since now I know you need help with it. I didn't pay much attention to it of course for the fact that my set-up its 9006 for low & 9005 for high. All I need is some good projectors that would fit with my HID bulb & not to melt the projector. I have the 6000K with the purple tint to it & it doesn't have to much glare to it & you can't even see that it has a purple tint to it at night but day well thats different lol. good luck with ur project & again Ill keep you inform ones i see that KIT again I know its out there cause Ive seen it twice if I recall.
