Post Stromung Install Help Needed

I am installing the stromung exhaust and a midpipe - do I have to re-install the heat shields over the new exhaust? Do they even fit?

Thanks

I'm an idiot. No need for response, no heat shields back there.

I am that sucking sound.

Enjoy it, I love my new stromung!

I didn't get the midpipe but intend to eventually when I have money. On the outback there are about two hundred heat shields and metal guards and stuff around the midpipe... I looked at it and said "Nuh uh, not wasting that much time"

doesn't it just have the sweetest sound? a little raspy, nice and deep, not whiny.

I've had mine since the winter, and it sounds awesome with the windows down now that it's summer

Thumbs up

I have the Stromung dual tip. Have had it for about two weeks, and love it, especially with the windows down. I drove around with my windows down and the heat cranked after I installed it, just to listen to it. Of course, I headed straight to the nearest tunnel just to hear it echo throughout.

My favorite part about it is cramming the gas from a stop, listening to it mixing with my JC Sports intake, and then hearing just the exhaust revs dropping as I shift.

Is that just me, or does anybody else do that.

Same here. I got mine from Mike Shields at SPD on Tuesday. Probably won't have time to install it until this Saturaday morning. Though, some boards did say without the mid-pipe, the Stromung drones in the cabin. I guess I'll wait and hear.

Hopefully I'll have no problems removing the extremely tight bolts.
