Default How to get shoe scuff marks off painted side skirt???

Anyone have any ideas??? really sucks since I just had them painted a month ago. I hate people that are not careful with my car.

Try bug and tar remover. that might work

A non-abrasive polish should work if it's just scuff marks. They didin't scratch the paint did they? I know what you mean about some people not being careful. Luckily, my fiance and most of my friends share the same respect I do for other people's cars.

Oh, and if that doesn't work, you might want to try polishing compund and then give the area a good wax.

this might sound stupid and ive never tried it myself, but ive heard that mayonaise will take off rubber marks on paint.(might as well try it, its basically free since everyones got mayo and cant hurt)

wd40 works good to remove tar/grease and sticky stuff

thanks for all the great idead guys. It is from someones rubber soled shoes. I'll try these (espicially the mayo one) and get back to you guys.

Exclamation Just use regular wax.

Try it.... you'll be amazed. You may have to use some additional pressure, but it works for me every time.
