Borla opinion?

Anybody! with borla cat-back what do you think? do you like the sound & quality? what did it do for performance?

Hey Scott,
I have the full Borla system and love it. I find myself reving up the engine at lights just to hear it. The sound is like nothing I have ever heard before. Very low and a little burbley. I get a back fire every now and then but it sounds good. On WOT its really not that intrusive. My Girl friend says it turns her on. And the sound isn't even the best part. I got the exhaust thinking I would gain, mainly just a really good sounding car, but I got way more. The power off the line was actually better than it had been with just a intake. I lost a little when I got Larrys CAI. After the exhaust all the low end, 2k and below, power returned. I pull all the way up to red line now and it feels like it would pull strong past red line. All in all bro I love it. I paid about $1k for the whole setup ie. headers, mid-pipe and exhaust. I love it, I love it, I love it. Get one.

That is EXACTly the setup I am planning on going to. Any C/E light problems? I was going to have the headers ceramically coated.

Nope, no CE light yet. I didn't change the gaskets So I'm acually jacking the car up right now to check for any exhaust leaks. I'm just taking out the gaskets and checking them for black marks.

Well I check everything out and all was good. I adjusted the mid-pipe, it wasn't going back strait and my muffler was falling off the right hanger. No header exhaust leeks. Everything been broken in, the headers have changed to the light brownish-rusty look, like a turbo. Still loving it.

SPO-motorsports, I wouldn't recommend them though. I had a hell of time getting mine. I ordered it 3 day, but got it in 4 weeks.
I'm not going to vent again SPO sucks my hairy.... you know the rest.

I just wanted to let everyone know, me and Burninruber got together last night and got some sound files of my borla exhaust. I'll have it up in the mornning.
