Default GC8 Hood Vent mod for WRX

Just curious....anyone tried this mod yet? I want to do this but I am not sure on the alignment and how flush it will be.

they are different sizes....wont fit...now with some work you can get it to fit, but considering none of the colors match, besides SRP....you would also have to get it painted....so you are probably better off buying an STi scoop....

I'm guessing he ment the actual hood vents from a GC8 (ie 22b vents) not the hood scoop itself.

my bad...i dont know why i figured the scoop...i guess since most rex owners i know are always complaining about theirs .....

as for the vents, the do follow the curve of the hood, so you might wanna double check cuz i dont think the lines match up...maybe some 22B vents, but even then....either way good luck..and post pics

Looks like the 22B willl be easier to fit...not really a good picture but you get the idea. Also, hope the owner of the car doesn't mind

Sorry but the SRP is not the same, if you have the two parked side by side you can tell the the GC8 SRP has more mettalic in it than the WRX SRP. THe WRX looks dull compared to the GC8

just buy unpainted 22bvents and get them painted with your sideskirts or something.. =/
