Post 1998 RS and Turbos

I have read posts with 98s having headgasket problems. I plan on going turbo very soon and was gonna run a copper head gasket and call it a day but than in the FAQ it mentions piston slap and I was wondering if I should just try to drop on a phase II block? One last question is some 98s came iwth DOHC heads and phase II block and there are markings on the block to identify this does anyone know where they are or have a pic?
Thanks,
John

You can also check with Mike Moffa. He's turbo'd his hybrid DOHC with the Phase II block.

For info regarding how to tell which small block you have, go here: http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/Forum1/HTML/021620.html

and here: http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/Forum6/HTML/001127.html

Hope that helps,
-Chris
