Question Intake resonator removal ?

First off, would you guys recommend removing the resonator on a '03 RS? Secondly, if any of you have, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know how exactly you did it.

I know where it is, but if I remove it, I'm not sure how to bridge the gap between the intake in the fenderwell and the MAS.

Thanks in advance.

dont know about 03's but it really is just only gonna add a slight growl at or around 4200 rpms.. so its not really worth your time.. in my opinion.
