Default How do you mount the radio in the gauge cluster?(wrx)

Can anyone post the directions on this?

have you tried to do it yet?

it's not really something you should need directions for. a single DIN headunit just screws into the bracket, screw the bracket into the dash, and pop the cover on.

not trying to be rude, just wondering if you tried it, and got stuck somewhere, or if you think it's harder than it really is.


Only tip you may need is that because the spot is close to the windshield, you will need a shorter screwdriver to get 2 of the screws in.

I wanted to find out what I was getting myself into before I bought the gauge panel. Sounds good. I will have to find myself a single din DVD and order that screen for the double din space from that ebay guy

Thats what I am planning too.

I have yet to see the LCD in person, but I hope to soon, he lives in the same city as me.
