The only wheels on the street with a problem are the early attacks.

Hopefully, Rota Battle won't have the same problem right?(sample production like the early Attacks) I have no clue if Battle is the newest style out and I'm under the impression that early productions of new styles are prone to manufacturing flaw.

TIA Rota

PS. dude, someone in tire-rack is bashing your product line on the other impreza club Don't worry, I just replied to it and quoted your post here. hehehe

Thanks for all the help. It seems the guy does not know much about our company.

We are IS0 9001, QS 9000 certified. Our testing facilities are certified by JWL/VIA as well.

We are OEM producers for Toyota, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Ford (which explains our QS certificaion)

I think that guy is only good for selling stuff, or maybe not even. He probably used to work for a car dealership and he knew nothing about the car he is selling . If I know, he only copied and pasted his reply from the company he is working (under commission) for.

rota wheels wrx,

One simple question: how do I get your wheels? lol

I've had a heck of a time finding a place that carries your wheels. Can I order them direct? Or do you have a dealer in my area (that won't rip me off, prices in Santa Cruz are usually terrible).

Edit: also, it appears the Battles are not on your website? Do you still offer them?

Thanks,

Josh

I ordered my Rotas from my local Discount Tires. I got a real good price. Of course, I bought tires, too...

My Rota SDR wheels had a manufacturing problem right from the start. I just inspected two of them today and one of them was missing clear-coat on most of the wheel. The other one was just fine. That is a a dirt buildup nightmare. A simple inspection in manufacturing would have solved that. The inspection sticker was even pasted inside the wheel.
And when I say it was missing clearcoat, i mean the paint is not shiny and quite rough. ugh I can't even exchange them since I need to get off the stock wheels asap.

If they missed that...what else did they miss???

I have had my steel gray subzero's for almost a year and since about three months in the paint has been chipping off of the spokes. I do not Rally, Auto X's, or any other type of racing just a 5 mile drive to work each day. I had not heard of any problems with the wheels until I came across this thread. Does Rota warranty the Finish on the wheels? As for the clear coat only the face of my wheels has clearcoat, the sidesof the spokes are ruff, which is were the paint is chipping from.

I have a set of the gold Tarmacs. I have had mine for over a year There has always been some spotting on one of them since I got them. I will snap some pics today if I get a chance.

I also wondered about getting some touch-up paint for them. I have a little curb rash on one of them.

Without going through all the pages of this thread, what email address do you want them sent to?

For those of us with odd Subarus, do you plan to make wheels in wider rim widths? I'd probably use 17x8 but I can actually use an 18x8.5.

My stock rims on the SVX are 16x8, 5x114.3, 55 offset.

I'd like to use Rota for an aftermarket wheel but it seems crazy to go to a smaller wheel width in order to accomodate the look, especially considering the fact that handling is the #1 consideration.

My thanks go to Kim Bong at Rota Wheels for replacing my set of old Attacks, one of which I cracked at Sears Point on Sunday at a Speedventures event.

I just recieved my set of Attacks.

Two are B4/02's (with the slots in the spokes) and two are C5/02's(no slots in the spokes). Is this anything to be concerned about? Are the weights of the rims the same? Do both the rims have the same amount of backspacing for brakes?

I guess this'll make it easier for me to keep track of front vs. rear tires!
