Default TUV approval?

Does anyone know which rota wheels have passed TUV testing standards?

We have 2 models with TUV certification (sold in Germany)
The Cobra and Rota sport.

All wheels are JWL VIA certified though. Some wheels such as the Battle and Tarmac are pending certification since these models are being sold in continental europe

Default German partner retailer

Do you have a list of “Rota” retailers for Bavaria preferably the city of Munich.

Many thanks.

Many thanks.
Our distributor in France is the one wholesaling all over Europe. I'll ask for a list from him

I just crossed over 20,000 miles with the 17" 505kg Attacks and they are looking good - almost like new. No breaks, tears or high speed wobbles.

Don't worry, they will be fine. The Rota's that broke were early designs that didn't have a strong enough spoke design. That problem is covered earlier in this post. Your new ones will be just fine on the road, or even Auto X if you like.

I luv the Ice Gnomes....

Thumbs up

More props for Rota!

I have a set of the first batch... I took a hard turn and now I have speed vibrations that no balancing machine could get out... I'd be willing to bet its because of these Rotas.

I called/emailed yesteday they are sending out a new batch asap. Rota Rocks!

Much thanks for excellent customer service.

AMAZING!!!! I am the second owner of some Rota Attacks. Was checking them out the other day noticed one was cracked. Took them off and sure enough they are the bad batch. I contacted Mic and he e-mailed me right back saying they will replace them even though I am not the first owner. WOW!!! I am so pleased. What a great company. Such dedication to customers really sets them apart from many of the companies I have dealt with that more concerned with a profit rather than making their customers happy. Thanks so much to everyone at Rota!!! ~Nick

just got off the phone w/ cecile at rota. wow, what a great company. with no questions asked said they'd be happy to get me a new set of attacks. i have bronze, but have been dying for gold. she said it would be no problem at all giving me gold, i'd just have to wait a month to a month and a half. this works for me seeing how these are my summer wheels. i then mentioned how i have tires on these. she told me that i'd get them exchanged over and send them the bill, they'd take care of everything. i am really impressed. i don't think i've ever done business with a company quite like them. amazing!!! ~nick

i think there must be atleast 200 post about Rota wheels that have been posted on this board.

if you are trying to imply that Rota makes substandard... you're wrong and you'll find tons of people here that will tell you otherwise.

we have been serving and will continue to serve this community for more years to come! quality and affordability... great combo to work w/.

if you have any issues w/ any rota wheels you own or would like to purchase... give any of the rota vendors a ring. oakos, revolution and myself are just a few of the rota dealers you'll find on this board.

I think that means there is a vendor out there who feels bad he left the ROTA bandwagon and is lurking around here

I bought a set of used 17" Attacks in bronze with the SVP 02 casting. Contacted Kim at Cosmic Marketing and he is doing everything possible to correct the problem. I've already had one wheel replaced and have two more with cracks...and now there seems to be a shortage of my size in bronze...ahhh! I could have gold, but that's what EVERYONE has...LOL

To illustrate ROTA's commitment, Kim sent out my wheel on Tuesday morning, a full day before receiving my personal check! (Will be refunded upon receipt of damaged wheel.) He had no obligation to do that.

I was actually in the tech inspection for an autocross this morning when the other (hairline) cracks were discovered. Although I was majorly disappointed that I couldn't run, I'm really glad we found 'em...no telling what may have happened.

Kudos to Kim of Cosmic Marketing (US ROTA distibutor) and ROTA for "attacking" this problem the right way. Sorry...that pun was awful...
