Unhappy which wire?

I've tried searching, but this question is so general I wasn't even sure what to look for

I'm trying to find a line that has 12v running through it, under the dash, but only hot when the ignition is turned on. AND, its got to be something that can handle some amperage, as I'll be wiring my wideband to it.

I was told the yellow with red stripe (runs the length of the drivers side dash, but that seems to be constant power. Any other suggestions?

There are several places to tap into ignition power. They are red wires. One is to the clock another to the head unit and i believe there is one to the dome light.

Why not the power to the accessory socket (cigarette lighter) which is hot whenever the key is in accessory or on? It's a yellow with red stripe I believe. It'll handle 10+ amps.

I just tapped into the power windows line to install an oil temp gauge... it's the fat green/black line in the driver's side door cord, easy to find, and you don't have to take anything apart to get at it.
