Question Xenon lamps 9007 12v 100/80w - Help?

I've search the forums for this and haven't found an answer, so I thought I'd ask here.

I want to replace the headlights and the foglights with Xenon bulbs (white).

The manual says to use Bulb # 9007, and the wattage should be 55/60. For the foglights, it's just 12v, 55/60w - no bulb number except one small code.

The only xenon HID bulbs I could find in # 9007 were 12v 100/80w.

I'm concerned about melting, or blowing fuses or whatever. Any help - or pointing me to a site, another NASIOC message would greatly be appreciated.

I'm gonna hold off on the lights until I fully understand this.

Don't put those bulbs in your car, I did and melted the wire harness. They actually put out less light than stock because of gthe blue coating on the outside, they are nothing like real HID. Do a search and you'll find the best replacement bulbs.

For the moment I just bought Sylvania 65/55w 12v Cool Blues and I really like them. No heat up at all.

Now... I took the 100/80's back to Speed Tech Design. The package for the SH-9007 lights are all in Japanese. When I got them home and looked at them, they were 100/80. So I took them back to STD. They wouldn't take them back. He pointed to this little tiny sign up above the cash-register (non-lit-up) that said NO REFUNDS. Why didn't he point that out in the first place? I never saw the tiny little sign, and the receipt does not say anything at all about no refunds.

I sat and argued with the guy until I was totally pissed off. The guy picked out the wrong lights for me and now he won't take them back. There were about 7 or 8 guys browsing the goods. After he totally refused to take the money back, I just started telling everyone not to buy anything because most likely they'd get ripped off.

I just walked off. Monday I'm going to register some complaints.
