Default HELP! I think somethings F' up now!!!

i installed my gauges today, and had one last wire to connect. it is the purple wire for the autometer A/F gauge. i forgot to disconnect the battery before i did this, so i hook it up, and now the alarm light keeps flashing in groups of 2. i have no idea what to do! i am pretty worried about this now.

also, when i was hooking the power wires into the fuse box earlier today, i put the wires into the correct spots. i did have the battery disconnected then though. but when i put the battery cable back on, the CD player and my radar detector came on! and the key was in my pocket!!!

did i F' something up? am i trying to run too many gauges off the fuse box? i have an autometer monster tach, greddy boost gauge, and the autometer A/F hooked up to the fuse box. i used the clock wiring to hook up the volt meter. these are all grounded to the hood release lever.

please help!!! i have the battery disconnected now hopefully to reset the ECU. what else do i DO?!?!?!?

Resetting the ECU has nothing to do with this, it is a wiring problem.
You may have accidentally cross-connected a switched power circuit with a full-time one. Go back and check all your wiring carefully. If you don't have the factory wiring manual for the car you should get one, it's a must before doing any electrical or wiring work.
As for the security light flashing, that should be no big deal. It sounds like you somehow managed to put the system into valet mode. In the small manual that came with the car for the security system there are instructions for engaging/disengaging valet mode.
