Default OR or WA Dealers offering STi at MSRP??

Although the Portland Auto show was top-notch for spotting the STi, salivating over it, and then laughing at the cheapness of the Evo, there was the obvious downside of the dealers.

All of the dealers I spoke to at the show weren't budging from a "$3000+ over MSRP" price.

I find this mark-up disgraceful, but if anyone knows of a dealer north of Salem (OR) all the way up to Seattle (WA) who can offer MSRP (or lower!! ), then please reply! Anyone in these two States buying an STi from a dealer that doesn't completely suck?

Cheers

Sothoth

(should read "$3000+ over MSRP") DOh!

Carter in Seattle has a policy of not going over MSRP. Did that on WRX when it was first available, and is doing so with STI as well.

I spoke with Thomas Subaru (Albany)and Gentry Subaru (Ontario), and both knew little about the STi but still wanted minimum $1500 over for it.
