Hey everyone,

My first post here. I decided to join after I heard about the STi coming to the U.S. At first, I was really excited about the Lancer Evo, but I know mitsu's reliability can never compare to that of Subaru.

Anyway, I was just wondering when is the expected release date for the STi in the U.S.? The Lancer is expected mid february. If someone could please inform me, I will be very happy. =)

No one knows for sure (except SOA and they aren't talking). Most speculation centers around June, with some guessing as early as May and others as late as November (ridiculous IMO).

IIRC the letter I got from SOA says "summer" or maybe "mid-summer". Sorry I can't check; it is at home and I'm not.

Given the waiting lists at most (all?) dealers it doesn't matter much when the deliveries will start. It is more a matter of how many the dealer will be allocated per month and how far down the waiting list you are.
