1) It's ugly (not an option in your poll, sir...)
2) No wagon

Further, you might want to amend your poll, to remove the inference of "gay" being bad, as in "this poll is gay." I know that this space is all too often a hotbed of adolescent testosterone, but any members who are gay might in fact find that offensive.

I will probably get one, but I don't believe in throwing away the maximum on depreciation on my 2-year-old WRX so I will keep it for another year probably. As much as I want an STi, I don't want it so bad as to voluntarily make myself poorer.

Here's mine... if I dont get the STi...

1) Looks is a bit on the ricer side... with potentially a lot of "fake"
ones on the road...

2) With a few grand more... I could get a slightly used 405hp Z06..
which will be hard for STi to match unless I dump in a few grand
worth of mods...

It won't be here till September.

I don't really need one.....I already have a car that's faster and another car that's more practical. I can afford it. The wife gave me the ok. The dealer that's ready to sell me one says September. I'll probably wait till Spring 04.

SRT-4 faster than the STI??????? I don't think so. Everytime a new Subaru comes out there are all of the people out there that have put tons of money into the one they already have or say the new one isn't as good. There have been track tests comparing the old Imprezas and Evos and the newer versons always were faster, even faster than modified old versons. Plus anyone can make a car faster than a production car but very rarely will you get the reliability and there goes the factory warrenty. When the RS came out with the SOHC vs DOHC there were battles over that, when the WRX came out people were saying the RS was better, now the STI is out and now a modified WRX is better? It won't be unless you spend a lot more money than if you just bought an STI. I do feel for the people that have modified their WRX though and cannot get the money back to get the STI. I am glad I kept my stock for a year. I was just about to sink some money into it this year too. Well, I wish I could say I'll see you all out there driving the SRT-4 but I don't think the rear view mirror magnifies that much.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
joking·ly adv.
Synonyms: joke, jest, witticism, quip, sally, crack, wisecrack, gag
These nouns refer to something that is said or done in order to evoke laughter or amusement. Joke especially denotes an amusing story with a punch line at the end: told jokes at the party. Jest suggests frolicsome humor: amusing jests that defused the tense situation. A witticism is a witty, usually cleverly phrased remark: a speech full of witticisms. A quip is a clever, pointed, often sarcastic remark: responded to the tough questions with quips. Sally denotes a sudden quick witticism: ended the debate with a brilliant sally. Crack and wisecrack refer less formally to flippant or sarcastic retorts: made a crack about my driving ability; punished for making wisecracks in class. Gag is principally applicable to a broadly comic remark or to comic by-play in a theatrical routine: one of the most memorable gags in the history of vaudeville.
