Unhappy OT: Reviving The Great NESIC Job Hunt

It appears I'm next on the list of looking-for-work MS Network Admin types. Company is on the rocks, likely to close next week. So much for my 10 mile commute.

Any improvement in the job market? I've found a few things to apply for at these sites. Ideally something will pop up in the Portsmouth/Manchester/North 495 area. Anyone have any other favorites?

www.flipdog.com
www.monster.com
www.jobsinnh.com

Then there's the usuals like HotJobs, computerjobs.com, etc..

I feel like singing like the Flanders kids:
"I've got the joy joy joy joy down in my heart"
"Where??"

If you happen to have active Secret Security clearance, the US Marine Corp Intranet Project is looking for people who know Cisco hardware for a 6 month to possible permanent position in Portsmouth. Problem is, I don't have active security clearance .

Nor do I, tho I have no worthy Cisco experience to add, either..

dammit, I know Cisco! (well, kinda...CCNA style)

too bad no security clearance for me. Heck, I wouldn't even know how to go about attaining that kind of clearance.

I do have Cisco experience, and I do know how to get clearance. However, you need to have active clearance to apply, but you need to have a reason to get clearance... a government agency or gov't contractor has to request it on your behalf- you can't ask for it yourself .

Post Also try

Sorry to hear, must be going around. This is my 3rd job in 4 years since leaving the milltary and now this one isn't looking so well either. Oh well, here's another one to try.
