Default Will the US STI come with a real STI key?

Does anyone know?

BTW- any news on the STI yet - are they making them yet?

Nope, I heard from a reliable source that we are getting Kia made keys that routinely fail in normal use.

Oh and production has started, but they haven't got all the chimps off cocane yet in the Siberian factory yet, so don't get an early one.

I don't know if it'd make a difference. I took my STi key to a dealership, and they couldn't cut it. So I took it to Home Depot. Those dealerships gotta start getting it together in preparation for the STi.... seriously.

I'm not 100% sure.

When they had the STi in downtown Portland a week or so back I spotted a STi key on the ring of keys that was handed between one Subaru guy to another. That jumble of keys (what looked like couple of alarm pads) disabled the alarm and unlocked the doors to the STi. But with several alarm pads in that mess of keys it coulda been his own car key in the mix as well.

BTW the alarm didn't have the WRX's honking sounds, and it also didn't have the normal chirping sounds you would get from an aftermarket alarm. When the guy unlocked the doors it had more of a digital beep.

Where is the STi key that is "sold here on the club" actually sold? How do I find it?
