Normally, the person who would ask this question would want the speedo in the middle and a factory radio. But I guess it is a valid question. It's one of the main reasons I'm hesitant to make the SVT Cobra a second choice to the STi. But that's like 10mpg the way I'd drive them.

Since the 2002 WRX is EPA 20/27 and I get on average 18-19, and possibly 26 on pure boring highway, I would guess 19/25 EPA, 17 metoo.

Not to Hy-Jack the thread, but gas here is up to $1.71-$1.80 for premium. That's up .13-.20 since last week.

1.80 per gallon? THATS GREAT!

If I convert what I pay per liter to gallons it work out to be $3.83 per gallon!!!!! and it's on the rise....

so be very thankful for what you have Costs ~$50 to fill up the Legacy.

Well, it's important because if the combined city/highway fuel economy is less than 22.5 mpg, then you'll have to pay a gas guzzler tax. The tax STARTS at $1000 and goes up as fuel economy declines. For instance, if the combined fuel economy ends up at 18.4 mpg, the gas guzzler tax would be $2600!

Quebec city gaz: Right now, 1$ / LITER of Supreme gaz... OK, I gives about 65c USD$ / LITER = 2.60$ / gallon...

I got the "old" SVT Cobra 99 and was managing 250km/tank driving it hard... Driving in the same way with my 02 Z06 was giving me 400km/tank. MPG on the Z06 is very impressive! Less than my girlfriend Spec-V !!!

Holy mother of god.

This thread, along with about 15 others in this STi (non) information forum is just insane.

Here...we can stop posting topics at all for now until SOA decides to give some lucky journalists a USDM STi to toss around and test, or releases more number for the USDM car. I'll save us the trouble and capsulize what seems like every thread on this board...

**********************
CluelessWonderboy: Does anybody know [insert some impossible to answer question here cause the damn car hasn't seen the light of day for testing] about the STi?

[SubieEnthusiast]: I don't think that info has been released yet.

[HelpfulSubieEnthusiast]: Well if the JDM 2.0 car [insert fact], and the EVO [insert assumed fact] and the SRT-4 [insert assumed fact] and you correct for [insert some fact about USDM models and why they suck compared to euro/JDM models] than maybe [best guess answer].

CluelessWonderboy (or agent of CluelessWonderboy): I asked for factual KNOWLEDGE that no human on this board could possibly possess! Not well-thought-out estimations and guesses which are the only quasi-informational tidbits to be found anywhere.
**********************

Really this is getting ridiculous. The production verision hasn't seen a street, a public testing loop, anything. Nobody has ANY more information besides what can be found in the stickies at the top of this forum.

Good luck in your hunt for misinformation. Kostamojen, metoo--you tried to help.

Forgot to add--to answer the question in the thread title.

"No"
