Post WRC steering components, how strong are ours?

I did a search in about 4 different forums, and I didn't get anything. Does the WRX's driven by, Burns for example, have a high performance steering components or what. I do some high speed forest driving and sometimes wonder if the tie rods, pitman arms, and etc.., will be all right on some heavily loaded corners?

I think it's safe to say that everything on a WRC car is "high-performance" and built to be tough. You don't really think they catch 15 feet of air on factory tie-rods, do you? I'm sure you could buy the same things Burns uses from Prodrive, but it's whether you want to spend the money on it, is the question...

I believe everything on the WRC is fly-by-wire... I dont' think there's a direct connection between the steering wheel and the wheels... I've always wondered how they did this...
