Question WRX Auto Dimming Mirror Idea

Maybe this is WTLW...but I didn't see any threads on this. Anyways, whenever I turn on my car, it shows digits for a temperature. I would assume that this is because it is a generic mirror for lots of cars, and some car companies have the temp guage built in already. I was wondering if there was any way I could wire one up, and if anyone has done this. Thanks.

No , the electronics is not there. This was tested by using a donnally auto dimming mirror. The person used the wiring from the donnally and hooked it up to the stock mirror. Nothing.
