Crew Needed for 100 Acre Wood Rally

Scott Leonard is contesting the Group 5 Clubrally championship at 100 Acre Wood on February 21-22. He needs 2-3 people to help with service. Tre and I went last year and saw some good action and great cars. Several Open class EVO's attend as well as Subarus.

Anyone in Texas is welcome, preferably Houston or Dallas (en route). All expenses are paid, and will leave Thursday returning Sunday. This is a great chance to learn what rallies are all about.

And what all are we expected to do by helping with service?

You get to follow a route book to find the service areas, drive the service van, help work on the car in service, and mill around talking with and checking out the other teams. Plus help with any pre-race work on the car. You'll probably have a chance to ride in the car too before the rally.

You also get free passes to the awards cerimony. It's quite fun. Bring a buddy and go, then come back with enough excitement to build a rally car!

i'll be in Detroit. otherwise i'd consider driving down.
one of these days i'll make it to a club rally....
