Default tuning with mac?

Anyone use a powerbook to tune a utec? What do you need to make it work?

Shouldnt need anything more than a normal terminal program for the mac and a serial port?

I guess the good thing about UTEC is that you should be able to load maps with any OS/platform

You'll need a keyspan USB to serial adapter that you can get for about $50 at CompUSA. You'll also need some sort of terminal program. I haven't touched mac's since OS 8.1 so I couldn't tell you whats out there...

OS X has a built in terminal, and ZTerm that I found at www.versiontracker.com let me set up most of the settings according to the UTEC manual, but since I have neither UTEC nor the serial adaptor I don't know if it would work.
