PMing Paisan has become impossible, as his PM box is full.

Paisan, please clear out your PM box, as I tried to ask you what time my appointment for the spring/strut assembly install will be.

Thanks,
Bob

I think Paisan said Leeburbs was going to be out of town that weekend, which is a shame. That would have been really cool to get done (tint).

Anyone who needs an egt probe installed, ILP Performance developed an adapter to make most threaded probes fit into the stock location. I installed mine on Friday in about an hour.

And then do you just do the resistor mod more the stock location? This isn't TOO bad of an idea, but does it involve removing the uppipe, or can you get to the probe without having to remove it?? (I'm going to wait until I get my replacement uppipe, then if it has to be removed and do em both at the same time at that rate...)

I like the idea of it in the uppipe, ONLY because it measures the output from all four cylinders -- sure it's a bit lower than it would be 6" away, but you could more easily (I think) detect a difference on either side with it in the uppipe - just my feeling, of course.

Hey - I PM'd paison to find out about rear endlinks if there's time - if not, no biggie since I'll stop by anyway!

Sorry guys, been trying to catch up for the 25hrs I was awake on Friday coupled with lack of sleep @ VIR.

A few items....

o Lee is out of town that weekend, but if this installfest comes off w/o a hitch, we'll likely throw another one in philly this spring/summer and Lee WILL be in attendance at that one

o End Links, sway bars, springs, struts, coilovers, shifters, tower bars, brakes, some electronics/guages, turbo timers, are all fair game for the day, items like up-pipes are too long to do @ an installfest.

I'm gonna e-mail/PM people back tonight if you e-mail me azp@iace.com make sure to put your screen-name for IM and screen name on here so I know who I'm talking to

The egt probe adapter allows the installation of the probe in the uppipe WITHOUT removing the uppipe. After removing the stock airbox, there is enough room to work down in that area to install it. I had to slightly move a coolent line coming off the bottow of the turbo, but that only took 5 minutes. You might not even have to do that. The adapters are a little expensive, but much cheaper than paying to R+R a uppipe. The resisters are 5 for 99 cents at radioshack.
