Exclamation Need Used Stock Clutch and Flywheel ASAP!!!

Hey Everyone....

I have a new clutch to pick up but since I'm not keeping my car, I would prefer a used one.

So if anyone has a used clutch and flywheel, please let me know ASAP!!!

I'm going to get the car worked on tomorrow, so I'll need it by tomorrow morning!!!

IF you just have the stock flywheel, then that will be fine.

I figure if I'm going to have the tranny dropped, I can give the flywheel to the new owner... though I'm going to have to reimburse for the clutch Nothing I can do there... sorry!

Oh well, at least it didn't happen to me in White Plains... that would've really sucked!!!

So please, anyone... help me out!!!

I think that AdamRS might have one. He just put in a heavier duty clutch and lightened flywheel.

No... the Rex clutch don't fit.

I emailed Adam but no response. Can anybody get in touch him and find out if he still has it?

I already bought the clutch (out of desperateness) but would seriously consider the flywheel.

Thanks.

BigElm.
I have 2 stock flywheels from a 1998 2.5 GT. 1 is good the other is "serviceable".
Let me know. Hope it is not too late.

No you're not too late

Does the '98 flywheel fit? If it does, I'll take the 'good' one of course... how many miles on it? How much you want for it?

I have to pick it up today though....

Let me know...

From my dealer connection:
Quote:
flywheel is a tough sell since Subaru flywheels rarely go bad the part number for your wheel is 12342AA040 and the list prices is $299.95 my cost is $179.97 so depending on how used it is I might think you could sell it for anywhere from $50 to $150. depending on mileage and how fast you want to sell it.
I take it I'm out of the running?

No.. you're not out but it will be alittle difficult to get to you tonight in PA. I have to get the car towed tonight so driving to PA will be exhausting.... that doesn't mean you're discarded!

I'm just considering options... that's all.

Is yours from a 98 RS?

Alex:

I decided to go with Charlie because someone was around his neighborhood last night. If not, I would've ended in your house at about 1AM..... But thank you for offering

Charlie:

Yes, Adam accomplished the mission. Hope all goes well with the flywheel.... I'll know tonight
Just when Adam was leaving the parking lot, he saw the guy (what luck ). So he was able to accomplish the original mission. It worked out great! Thanks for meeting with him. Hope all goes well on your swap

I actually fogot how much the sucker (flywheel) weighs... I'm gonna miss my Fidanza

Hope you have a sense of humor.
