Smile A tribute to the truck driver

I was driving home from LA on the 5 at 120 mph in the fast lane. (honestly who drives the speed limit on a long straight away) Anyhow, a semi truck merged into my lane making me slow down to 75 mph and merged back into the slow lane. My first reaction to this was "what the F#@$," what was this guy's problem, a few seconds later i see a CHP car on the shoulder of the highway. After viewing that my heart was changed quickly instead of cursing him, i was blessing him.
This ones for you truck driver, where ever you are. .

Yea much respect to the truck driver! Cept those who drive 17, they make better slalom lines ...and proly don't like me much.

Share the road everyone

for what it is worth... he moved over out of respect for the chp officer standing on the shoulder. alot of truck drivers do that, even I do it... even when I am in my car. it is just safer for everone.

yes i did. But the funny thing is that i use to be able to detect the chp from far away, but now it seems that not all chp cars have their radar on constantly.

True, but he said the truck merged left, went back to the slow lae, and then they passed the CHP. The trucker was lending a hand for sure.

I've had this happen to me on 5, but there was not a CHP in sight! This was a little while ago and I was driving my little CRX HF at warp speed--about 85mph. Nobody else was on the road--late night--and this semi inexplicably swerved into the fast lane. Another maneuver they occasionally pull, that I love, is to block both lanes while the "faster" one passes the slower one going about 0.5mph faster.

I just got through driving 5 in an Oldsmobile Alero, so I'm bitter.
