Default Orange belongs on fruit

So how soon will it be before you pull the lights off to go clear? I don't know why they figured that America would rather have all that orange in the in the front of the car, but then again they did put blue carpet in the car too. Yuck. Getting rid of the orange in my WRX lights was the best mod I did....well next to the bigger turbo.

I live in knoxville, TN...
I'll give my left __ to have as little orange on anything I own. Obviously I'm transplanted.

I like the orange. I hope they didn't have that clear reverse light on the taillight. Looks pretty cheesy. Well at least, it is not as bad as the Evo ricer taillights.

I was incredibly happy to see the clear reverse light. Unlike the current WRX lights, you can actually use these lights to see when you are backing up at night. The MY02-03 lights just signalled others that you were in reverse.

I do think it is kinda funny how everyone was bad mouthing the aftermarket clear lense rear lamps that were littering ebay (calling them "Altezzas"), yet you hear very very little bad mouthing about these. The only difference in appearane is the circle on the STi lights, which is more "tuner-boyish."

I'm not aiming at you with this, Hanzo, but Suby guys have such a high double standard about things.

I bought a pair of those cheapos off ebay (clear with tranparent red). They had horrible quality (I figure they would), but the reverse lighting was 10x better. I had to put the stock one back on in 3 months. The lamps were pure garbage. I'm glad to see the clear lights on the STi, and these will be quality for sure.

I would not call the new WRX/STi tail lights Altezzas because they aren't. Altezzas are tailights that are entirely clear with chrome backing with the lights situated within. The new WRX/STi have red tail lights with a section of it being clear. Look below and you can see what I am talking about.

STi has Impreza lights
Evo has Lancer lights
Altezzas have Altezza lights

Everyone (many I-Clubbers, or formally known as) were calling the lights "Altezzas." And they looked just like the ones on the STi without the circle part.

Now, to un-Hy-Jack my own thread, I would like to shift focus back to the front of the car. I really like the style of lights. I just wish they were like the JDMs without the orange.

I am sorry but the taillight from that link to ebay is even worse than the stock STI ones.

The should have different taillight options. I think the Mitsubishi Outlander has 2 versions of taillights. One is the Altezza style and the other is normal.
