Anyone have specific information on the rotor/caliper overall diameter?
There seems to be alot of clearance with the stock 17's, so I'm thinking I can keep my Kosei K1's as winter rims??

Nice rims. IIRC, no, also seems that very few rims with the correct offset in 17s will fit this brake combo.

If I recall at the detroit show, there was about a finger's worth of clearence between the caliper and the inside of the rim. I wonder if i bring my rim to the TO show would they let me see if it fits heh

I doubt any 16's would fit.

On the WRX STI Spec-c type RA, one of the options is 16 inch wheels, go to the STI site and look up under this car, and look at the option and the brakes that are used,........

I believe the 16" version also has the smaller brakes (aka gravel spec).
http://www.subaru.co.jp/impreza/sedan/09/index.html (perhaps someone who reads japanese can confirm) It is also 44lb lighter than the 17" version. |

Here is a picture of the 16x7½" Kosei K1 rims (what I have) on a DC5 (RSX) With Brembo's. It's not a chop as I seen it with my own eyes at the show.
With my stock 16" rims I barely have any clearance with the stock brakes. Brembo's wouldn't even come close to fitting with the stock rims but seem to fit with the kosei. The inside diamater must be larger than normal?? Anyone know where I could obtain the fitment diameter for the 04 STi front brake setup? Or possibly the actual inner diameter of the stock 17" bbs rims that come with it. |

What diameter Brembos were they? They look pretty small.

According to Brembo's site for the Gran Turismo.
328x28mm LH Drilled Disc. 328mm = 12.91 inches for the rotor. And it's their P4 36/40 Radial Red LHT Caliper They only come in 12-14" |
