I know! Bloody prices are rising like mad around here in the Bay Area! I'm pissed off too about it!
Must be cause of the war and stuff. Still, I feel like it's almost extortion! I know I know, it's worse in Europe, but hey, I can still complain!Speed Revelation |

The longer these prices last, the more people will think about giving up their f*cking SUVs. I don't like paying more either, but we're just lucky not to have to pay Eurpean prices. Keep that in mind.

I commute from San Francisco to Menlo Park every day, and with my Subaru getting 20mpg, I'm paying nearly $200/month in gas. I've been seriously considering buying a Honda Insight for commuting (68 mpg!!) and only driving the Roo on weekends.
And, I also wouldn't mind paying European Prices for gas if the taxes went to making public transit a viable option. Caltrain is a joke, why would I ride the train for over an hour when I can drive the same distance in 25 minutes? But, if Bart went all the way down the Peninsula, I'd never drive to work ![]() |

I found my car does best with Arco gaz.
Used Chevron, 76, Shell, but for all of them every once in a while my car will go just over 200 miles on the full tank before it runs out. What's up with that? Anyone else had this problem? |
