Jersey Shore Rally Turkey Weekend Meet 2/28-3/1

OK folks here is my idea. I'm planning a meet down by my place on the shore. It will be the weekend after this one. It will also be almost right off the garden state parkway so I encourage folks to come. I'll post the location as soon as I figure it out. It will be that Friday night. I'm thinking maybe a charlie brown's steak house or something of the sort. On saturday, if some local folks are interested, I'm thinking of having a small Rally Turkey party with the usual party junk food and maybe going to get some subs. There will be plenty of PS2, Rally and Mischeif DVD, and Rally Radio live action to check out. If the friday meet doesnt pan out then the saturday thing should still be on. Ill need a list of folks who plan on making what though.

edit: ok scratch the "live part" since the Rally has a time difference of 7 HOURS!!! So unless people want to show up at 9-10am saturday morning for a brunch party(bagels!), it will just be movie watching

near eatontown, exit 105 GSP. sure bring as many people as you want for the dinner meet. as for the saturday affair, i live in a REAL small apartment. so i want to keep the #s down.

just in case anyone was wondering, Rally turkey is a World Rally Championship event in which the SUBARU world rally car competes. Its a motorsport!!! Dont want anyone to think that this is a gathering of folks to support war or anything. Anyone down?

I may be down for the friday thing. I have to drive to maryland and pick my buddy up after he drops off his 450 whp IS300 for suspension and tranny work, and then go to a show at the troc.

Hey I live in Long Branch where do you live? There are alot of places to eat in the area. Red heads is right off the exit and they stay open late with pool hall. I'm in I hope some of the old school guys will decide to come too.

just got word from the dealership that the clutch and plate they ordered is delayed, and they also just ordered a set of driver's seat rails. So as it stands now, I'm going to be driving my dad's Camry or that POS Ford loaner this weekend.

This SUCKS!
(but hey...I'm practically getting a new tranny replaced under warranty)

This weekends' weather is supposed to be kinda "mild", so i need to do some work on the car (i.e. grease some bushings, fix a clunk). You're more than welcome to come to my neck of the woods to lend a hand. The more hands turning a wrench the better!
