Exclamation Good, and affordable Alignment near Redwood City?

Hi Guys,

I put on my Prodrive Springs on Saturday and now I am in desperate need of an alignment because I don't want to totally kill my S03's.

Does anyone know of a decent alignment shop on the Peninsula?

Thanks

Default Well...

Custom Alignment in Mountain View is the best as far as I know, but they are not cheap. Expect to pay around $150 for an alignment, but it will be right the first time, and it will suit your vehicle and your needs (they will ask). Those guys are good, my cars go to no-one else.

I believe tazman976 is referring to Auto Innovations in Milpitas.

I got my Prodrive springs, installation and alignment from them a couple of weeks ago.

They are first rate.

Go to Firestone, they offer $130 (Mmm, if I recall correctly but definitly within the $140) for LIFETIME AWD aligment. Their service is alrite, and I went to the one in So. S F (near San Bruno). After all, aligment is one of the most efficent way to keep your rex on top of problems. (tire wear/ proper steering/ maintain good traction of your ride) Late.

In the peninsula, I tried Bridges Tire in Burlingame, CA. Recommended by an OSP autocrosser for a custom alignment. Reportedly, they do it by hand (no laser racks). They will ask you about a non-spec alignment request, but I think they're concerned about toe alignment as I gather they had some issues about people requesting toe out alignments and then complaining about tire shredding. No problem with camber requests from my experience. Price, about ~$140 for all four.
