I just took them off my car and are still on the stock struts. The springs have been on for about 28K miles. They still have the top hats on the assemblies. This is a complete set-up. What's the catch? Just give me your stock set-up including the top hats. This way all you need to do is remove struts and springs as a whole assembly and simply reinstall these. No spring compressor tools or impact guns needed.
Please e-mail me @ wagonrx@yahoo.com if interested. Russell

Vehicle:2002 WRX Wagon Vishnu Stage 2 |
Russell,
So how is the ride with the new Tein Wagon coil over? On another note, did you install the Vishnu Stage2 on your car or did you let Diablo install the parts? I am in the process of installing the Stage2 using instructions from TurboXS. Can't seem to find instructions on the Vishnu website (bummer). Oh well, I don't use the wagon on a daily basis so I can take my time on the install. I'm looking into the TMIC but am not sure what it gets you in regards to performance with the Stage 2. Do you have any information on this one? In case you don't remember, I'm the guy that picked up the Stage 2 when you picked up your Tein at Shiv's. Thanks, Luis |

. All jokes aside, I love the new ride with the Tein's now. Perfect for what I do which is mostly freeway and some spirted driving.I did the VS2 install myself. As far as instuctions, I didn't follow any. I just removed the parts that I needed to replace and reinstalled them as I found them. You can find some specific info if you do some searching. I'm not sure of your level of ability but to me, it was straight foward. I used to turn a wrench for a living and also have a FAA Airframe & Powerplant License so I may be a-typical when it comes to working on things. If you have never taken an engine apart and put it back together, I would be hesitant to say to you that it's an easy job. It would take me about 5-6 to do the job from stock but plan a whole weekend to play it safe. Also make sure you have the correct tools to do the job because have the wrong tool can add hours of aggravation. You'll spent alot of money so far that the money saved doing it yourself may not be worth it. Piece of mind is "Priceless". Which ever way you choose for the install, there's one thing I can be sure of. Your going to love the power VS2 puts out. I grine every time I drive my car ![]() I do plan on the TMIC one day but will have to hold off for now. I'll get the XEDE before I do that because that allows me to do some fine tuning at the track.
