Post STI Pink Springs... Need info please!

I'm talking about these

<IMG SRC="http://www.autocaresubaru.com/pinksprings.jpg" border=0>
As seen in the ISR website --> http://www.autocaresubaru.com/suspension.html

I want these because of how much they will lower my car and how much the bodyroll will be minimized because of the tighter spring...

The questions i have are...
1 Is there any other supplier or reseller who could get these for me? I've called ISR many times and they say that they are waiting to hear from their supplier on when they will get these. ...

2 Does anybody know the part number for these pink springs or know who could get it for me? That way maybe I could get a price from another vendor. (Note: Not to dis on ISR[I have bought tons of stuff from them in the past and they're great] but a little competition never hurt anybody and only benefits the consumer :-P )

3 Has anybody installed these in their car?

4 Does anybody know the spring rate? I know these are progressive so the rate has to be more than 1 number (right?)

Thanx a lot you guys....

Carlos AKA MrP0nch0

In the meantime enjoy a photo from the last auto-x event (not a subaru meet but over 30 subies showed up and 21 stayed for the group shot :-P)

MrP0nch0,

Try Cobb Tuning. I got mine from him. These springs work great. I have them mated up to KYB/AGX struts. I don't know what the spring rate is but it is way better than stock. The car hardly has any body roll anymore. They ended up lowering the car around an inch and a quarter. Here is a pic of my car so you can see just how much..
Good luck finding the springs. Once you get them, you will love them.

I saw these springs on Cobb's site... my question is has anyone put these STi springs on the stock WRX struts? Would this even work?

Thanks,
Brian

(I'm assuming this is for the GC8)

Spring rates:
Front: 3.5kg/mm
Rear: 3.1kg/mm

That's way too stiff for AGXs.

Part numbers are ST2040055060 for the front springs (you need 2 ) and ST2230055100 for the rears (again, that's for one spring only.) A Subaru dealer COULD special order them, but that would be expensive and time-consuming.

Yen price is 28,000 for the set, so you should be able to get them for a little less than $300 from any importer that won't gouge you. I've always had good success with TRi when it comes to STi parts. Just remember that when importing is a far cry from getting FedEx to drive a few boxes over from California.

yeah just installed them. I bought them from Cobb tuning. The only problem I can see so far is that the driver side sits lower than the passenger side. I just posted this problem on the board, i hope to get some responses to try to fix this

p.s. the car seems to handle quite a bit better, but the roads around here are soaked from rain
