Thumbs down My Adventures with Caltrain, or Why Everyone drives to work...

So I'm getting sick of driving from San Francisco to Menlo Park and back every day. Between the cost of gas, the wear and tear on the car and the wear and tear on my nerves, the drive is brutal.

So I decide to take the train.

After all, the 22nd St. Caltrain Station is only 7 blocks from my house.

Well, getting TO work was a breeze, even though it took over an hour total as opposed to driving which usually takes about a half hour. I was much more relaxed, and I could read the paper on the train, so it wasn't so bad.

getting home was another issue.....

My train was 45 Minutes late! which means I had to sit at the Atherton Caltrain Station and freeze my ass off. Then when I finally got to SF, I started to walk home and it started to POUR!

I finally get home 2 hours and 15 minutes later, soaking wet.

There has got to be a better way.
