Default Need help finding alarm system

I'm trying to find a alpine sec-8063 security system. I've looked all over the internet and no luck. I seriously don't trust the audio shops around me so any one have a clue where i could pick one up?

Oh and anyone have a good audio shop in the VA beach area or Richmond? I really don't want a ****ty job so driving isn't a problem.

THanks,
Robert

as you are probably aware that Alpine has discontinued this model in favor for the more inexpensive 150/100 models. also, alpine's mobile mayday system as well.

you're better off looking somewhere else for a different alarm system.

the sec-8063 was nice, b/c of the little lcd screen that can report vital information regarding triggered events etc.

good luck with your search!

Since any good installer will sell equipment that covers the range of features, why not find a good installer first, and then see what they recommend. After all, the alarm effectiveness will depend 90% on the installation job, 10% on the equipmentl.

Default Viper alarm

I have the Viper ESP550 with remote start, window controls, and all the features that make it effective.

All told, it has only once falsed, has silent arming, and keeps my system intact.

The installer is what makes the system work best, however. They can recommend what features you need, and avoid the ones you don't so that the maximum effectiveness is maintained.
