Default Reverse Glow Gauges

Has anybody replaced the stock gauges with the reverse glow gauges? Is it easy to do? Is it worth it? Thanks for the help!

All of the setups of backlit indiglo style gauges have been, IMO, very hard to take. It's just too bright.

I do, however like the standard (well, it'd be standard for MY car) white face, black lettering, then at night the face stays dark while the lettering glows blue or green. That is standard in the MY99-01 RS's (well, kinda... a white face turns dark/green lettering at night).
