1997 legacy Gt, plz help

well ive done a bunch of searches and whatnot, and i decided to ask... my temp gauge keeps going up and down, its like jumpy. i replaced the thermostat and burped the system and everything like i shouldve, the coolant is full and whatnot but it still does this. i was wondering if it could be the water pump thats doing it, but im not sure... if u guys could give some ideas it would help out a lot. thnx guys.

did ya try a new radiator cap? yea its simple, but that is the one thing eveyone forgets to check, but it would be more likely the cause if you were running hot, not running hot/cold.

yea, forgot to say that... replaced it w/ the thermo.
