Just the tire? Why do you think this happened? Are those 40's or 45's?

Sorry about the tire...that's exactly why I have a set of 16s for off road duty. Spend the 400 for a set of stock WRX rims & tires and protect your big wheels.

Lost a tire because of the BBK, eh? That's exactly why I don't have a BBK yet. This sounds like the perfect opportunity to remind everyone of the iON Performance BBK that fits under stock wheels!!! It's ideal if you plan to have fun with your Impreza both on and off road.
Check it out in the Vendor GB forum ![]() I know you don't need the brakes jdmimpreza, but maybe others viewing this thread might ![]() |

On another note I'm not even sure if he still has any of his stock parts anymore, 16 OE wheels or OE front brakes/rotors. So he's stuck in the 17's |

Just curious what tire pressure were you running , I've managed to pop the bead on a few rent a rides. 38 PSI seems to be the minimum pressure with 42 PSI I've not had a problem. These tire pressures are not optimal given Michelin recommends 25 PSI on their Rally tires but what the heck with street tires I'd rather have the tire stay on the rim vs. potentially putting a car on it's lid

I agree. I run between 40psi and 45psi at the rally-x. But I still run into problems with popping beads but I guess I should not run into the ruts and maybe avoid them.

I think the ruts are impossible to avoid late in the day but then again I tend to have a floor it and steer driving style at Rally-X.
See you Saturday , Tom |
