Arrow Friday morning (3/7) Mosquito Ridge run from Roseville @9am

Ok, Mike AKA dorifto really wants to go drive on this road, so I figured it would make a good break for me after my tests this week... This friday at 9am if anyone wants to come along, meet up at the Golfland Parking lot just off of I-80 at the Eureka exit (after Douglas) and come along up to ride on a freakin awesome road... Until we hit snow again

Chinese, ouch, I thought my Italian class would be hard

Its friday cause mike can go friday Otherwise I would have said sunday, but he is doing stuff sunday... This is just to see if anyone who isnt doing anything wants to come along. Maybe we can wait a little later til like 9:30-10, but last time when me and Allen left at 9:15 we just missed the first wave of bikers and were basically the first ones up there. I figure since its a friday, it will be even more empty

It took 30 minutes to get to the road from Roseville, so however long it gets to roseville + 30 minutes is total driving time.

Directions are easy: Go up I-80 to auburn, get off on the Foresthill road exit, go straight perpendicular (not parallel) from the freeway at the light, when you get to Foresthill the roads slow down in speed limit and theres a gas station. Get gas, then turn right on the next road which is mosquito ridge road

I'm free Saturday. Do you think the road will be swamped with motorcycles on a Saturday? The weather is supposed to be pretty nice.

Alan, what are you testing out? Did you get your grill painted yet? I can't wait to see how it looks on your car.

I got a ecutek reflash last weekend I'm thinking REAL early in the morning, like around 8:30 - 9. Otherwise, as you say, it'll be swamped with bikers (and cops).
Oh, about the grille ... I returned it like you did

I shouldn't be too hung over Saturday morning . Anyone else want to come? DDMan, EddyRS?

I think 8:30 is probably best, that should put us out to the road by 9 or a little later. Where do you want to meet up?

How much further did you guys get this time? :P

So besides Egan, anyone wants to wake up early on Saturday and drive? I was thinking of starting from Folsom, go to El Dorado Hills and go north on Salmon Falls Rd, then up hwy49 and do some hairpins down the mountain and go all the way up to Auburn, take 80 and do the Mosquito Ridge until I hit snow. How's that?

It was a great day for a drive. Basically no other cars. Much fun!

There is another Thread on it here in BAIC. But you just drive up 80 to Foresthill exit then follow that for about 15 or 20 min. past the Foresthill bridge. Then you will come to a gas station on the righ hand side. Just past that you make your 1st right and that is the road.

Kostamojen may have the exact names of the roads and the gas station.
