Question Amsoil Air Filter

Thinking about getting an Amsoil 2-stage foam air filter for my 98 Impreza 2.2 liter.
Not sure which type of mass flow meter the engine has but remember that one kind does not like oil vapors from K & N or Amsoil filters.
Will the Amsoil foam filter cause any problems with my mass flow meter or engine?

Thanks,
Roy

Amsoil are very nice, had one on the sentra for over a year w/ no problems... The are cheaper than k&n and better constructed too. They also go longer between cleaning...
