Hello fellas, I haven't been quite active lately, as some of you know I am waiting for my beefed up engine, well, still waiting, but the wait should be over soon. Anyway, I had setup an appointment with Skywalker from I-Speed, again, to do my LINK and ECUTek my, well, OEM ECU.
If I am not mistaken, it will be the weekend of April 19th. I am still thinking either tune the cars at Rallispec in S. Jersey, or Pruven Performance in CT. Which shop is better and cleaner? Any thoughts? Been to BM Tranny, dirty as hell, and I don't want to go back there. Let me know the number of people that are going, I will try to book the whole Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until whenever they close. And just a fact I want to share with you guys, Skywalker is probably one of the best tuners in the country, so if you want a balanced, optimized, street driven WRX, here is your chance. ![]() P.S. Moderators, can you please make this thread sticky? Thanx! P.P.S. Sounds like Pruven Performance for the dyno/tune/meet on 4/19/03 then. Let see some hands!!!!

Hey man whats up. Call Dave, or Greg at Rallispec. They have a set up with AWE in Philly (who has a AWD dyno) and see what they can help you with. I dont know how clean AWE is but i know rallispec isnt all that of a mess (if your talking about sh** all over the place.) They (rallispec) is going to be doing My ecutek, and getting the final results at AWE. AWE guys are a bunch of VW, Audi heads so going straight to them for help on the tuning MIGHT be like asking me what happen in the movie titanic.
Good luck, and lets hear about the results when its all done, Bob MMMmm Turbo ![]() |

Rallispec did my 325 hp 2700 lb Impreza swap. They tuned my Apex'i Power FC on the street, and it ran great. I also had it dynoed at Pruven Performance in CT. A/F ratios were fine, so we didn't mess with Rallispecs tune. Rallispec is a great tuner, and completely trustworthy. But they don't have an AWD dyno. Pruven performance is a great tuner with AWD dyno. I had a great experience at both, so you should be fine whichever way you choose.

AWE is by FAR the cleanest shop I have ever entered. The owner is one of the most particular mechanics I have ever met.

Has anyone had a utec tuned at either BM Tranny or Pruven? I'm currently running a TXS stage 2 program.

Rich10,
This is why I am asking people if they want to join me for the dyno tuning session. Skywalker from I-SpeedUSA is coming in April 19th, and he can tune anything, so UTEC is not a problem with him. Let me know if you want to join us, we just need to use the dyno for tuning. ![]() WRXBeater11, Maybe B&M does have a 10secs DSMs, but frankly their place is dirty as hell, that's why I am not going back there, get the point? |

AWE has one the best facilities in the area. Their shop is over 10,000 sq feet, super clean and the gusy theri are very professional. They worked on my Audi S4 when I had it. You will not be disappointed.

Lehigh,
Thanks man, I will give them a call next week. Do you know what their pricing schedule like? I know Pruven will probably charge 250/hr for using their dyno to tune 1 car. |
