Thumbs up Time for another meet in Fairfield on 3/23/03

Its been a while since we have had a meet in Solano county, so I decided to start one.

The meeting spot, as usual, the in-n-out burger in Fairfield, but make sure you guys park over at the harley dealship where there is an open parking lot.

The meet starts at 3:00pm, and ends when the last Subaru leaves.

If you show interest at all, please post on this thread, even if its a maybe post on here so we can see how much interest there is.

Directions:Traveling on the 80 Fwy., exit at Travis Blvd. and head west. Turn left on Holiday Ln. The In-N-Out is on the left side of the street in the Fairfield Cycle Center.
Address:1364 Holiday Ln., Fairfield

See you guys there!

Will probably make the drive over there. I have spring break from Cal Poly at that time!

No, I assume we just talk, tell stories, look at each others cars, talk about mods, and eat right?

I probably won't go. I don't want to put too many miles on my suby too fast

Everyone should just come out to the Berryessa meet on 3/16

3/16 Berryessa Meet

No reason not to make both... I for one am very interested in a spirited run before and/or after every meet. Hangin out and partaking in the BS is fun, but I bought my car to drive first and foremost. I will definitely be going somewhere on the 23rd, leaning towards the whole length of Pleasants Valley right now. Why to drive Pleasants Valley Road

Hey BAN,
unfortunately Pleasant Valley if not open all the way yet. the bridge a coulple of miles south of Putah creek road intersection is closed. If you are driving north you can drive till you reach Cantelow and then head up and over and around to near Winters on those sweet roads, like I did yesterday. Just be attentive for cyclists on the narrow section down Cantelow. It's easy to drift into the oncoming lane under full acceleration though the switchbacks

wooden valley road, out of fairfield, is just as fun if not more so. pleasants valley, despite the fact that it is closed, is narrow and has cyclists. it depends on where people are coming from though.

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting about that bridge. But Cantelowe is a pretty good consolation prize. Spike, I haven't done Wooden Valley Road (I don't think) but I drove Clayton road to 121 the other day... it was pretty good, and the pavement was awesome once you cross the Napa county line. Too many boat trailers and sport bikes on a Sunday though, I gotta do it on a weekday sometime.

Default cross post alert!

Just wanted to see if any of you fellas are heading up to Cal Expo this weekend for the Autocross. Cheap, and we should all get a decent number of runs in.

4 people, 2 of which were not i-clubbers or Nasioc members??

but Evan and I went and drove the EVO 8 after the "meet" it was pretty cool not worth the extra money IMHO though..

I would have been there, excep these new S-03s seem to tramline really bad.... they pulled me all the way uop to Cal Expo for an autocross... I'll make the next one though, as long as there isn't yet another autocross conflicting with it.

Yeah, pretty chill hanging out with some guys and talking about the WRX (No rs's this time ) The evo is pretty cool, but I would never pay the markup they are looking for (Fairfield wants 10g's over sticker!). But damn the suspension and brakes are awesome!
