Default help me figure out what this noise is

i dont have an audio clip but ill describe it as best i can.

when i rev the car up to between 3600-3700 rpm and hold it there, i hear a buzzing/rattleing comming from the front passenger side of the car somewhere. it almost sounds like heat shielding buzzing or rattleing, but i dont think it is because it only comes on between those rpms. ive tried other ways of making it make noise including reving hard and using the engine brake, but i cant get it to work. it is loud enough that i can hear it over the radio when im normally driving.

what do you figure it could be? just ask if you need any other info regarding the situation.

i dont think its that because i can maintain it at 3600-3700 rpm, whether it is in gear or not. the sound only happens during deceleration when i get to 3700 -3600.

MY RS makes the same noise a subaru tech told it is most likely the belt tensioner. These cars are well known for this problem.
