Any MAC guys here??

I haven't used a mac in a long time and have some questions. I forgot how to choose the boot menu when you restart. (There are multiple OS's installed and I'm trying 2 make it boot to OS X. )

How do you restart the mac? It appears to be stuck in some weird mode and I can't get out of it. It has a square in the middle of the screen with a blue globe that is flashing on and off.

I'm trying to test something here @ work.

to get to the startup disk selection screen hold down option while you boot.

in mac 9.x, the STARTUP DISK control panel does it for me...

to boot from a CD, insert CD and hold down "C" until you see the startup sequence begin...

I found it, but thanks.

To restart and have it boot to OS X, just restart and press x. It will boot up to OS X.

The other problem I had was fixed by zapping the PRAM.
