Very nice. I copied a bunch of them!

Curious though...

[pic removed by Glenn Wallace]

No STi badging on the back. Weird!

And... grr... I'll get eaten alive for saying this, but I don't like the rear wing. I know it's what WRC is all about and all, but I think it's ugly. I'd probably get a standard WRX one for it if I had an STi.

is it me or that White STI??? looks like a total Photochop ??? i mean the wing isnt even the same color ... it looks brighter/different shade, it also looks sorta angled

Dude, thanks for posting those pics. That's friggin' awesome. It gives me chills seeing an STI here in the states. (Wish I lived closer to MI so I could hunt that thing down and drool all over it! )

I don't think it's photo-chopped. Look at how the shadows/sun falls on the STI and the wagon next to it. It seem to match up.

Very cool. Do you happen to know what size Blizzaks those are? I am curious how a wide tire felt on the ice/snow-- they look to be stock width.

they're stock width - 225/45-17 - but I dunno how they feel on ice.

the car tends to like to slip/slide them under power on pavement tho

I'm waiting until things that out to get a ride on the RE-070's. somehow I think that will provide a bit more stick...

Thumbs up Nice pics!

Great job getting some pics of a test US STi!

The std STi wheels + Blizzak MZ03 look like a nice winter combo. Of course, the only info I can find on MZ03s is in Japanese. It would be REALLY nice if SOA offered the std STi wheels for sale here...anyone know how much a set goes for if you import them now?

Why not delete the thread, it's useless without the link.

I never said they weren't taken in a public place. I said (in a PM to Jay as well) that they should not be posted here with the plate legible.

There were plenty of pics without the plate visible, so post them instead, or blur the plates. Pretty simple instructions, I don't see why you are having trouble following them.

Sample: here's a picture of a press car I took a few years back, notice I altered the plate:

If you want to ask why they can't be posted without alteration, then PM me - I am not going to have a big public discussion about it, ok?

I heard the MZ03 does not have DOT approval on it.

I did suggest a few months back to Subaru that they offer the JDM wheels in a "winter wheel package". No word yet.

The pics should be back up shortly. Please stay tuned.....a bumpity will follow when anonimity requests have been satisfied.

Turns out the pics could cause some despair for the parties involved. Better to just do this than get anyone in hot water (or cold water).

Glenn wasn't powertripping.....just making things right for everyone. Sorry for my earlier sarcasm...... :P

You're lucky the moderators don't boot your arse outta here. They provide a valuable and necessary service to the boards. Ask any of 'em how much they get paid for it...

Perhaps, but this is the first time I have ever seen licence plate blocking out being enforced or even declared as some sort of rule... Licence plates are not something that are supposed to be private anyhow, which confuses me...

I say this is a lot of BS. Post the pics!! Or guess what we will just go view them on the other boards- which by the way has been coming along way lately. I wonder why
