The pre-production cars have had the cool STi key.

The people that saw the car at the Portland showing saw the cool STi key. (someone had their own STi key and the SOA employee thought they'd swiped the key, and he produced it from his pocket and it was the same).

That's kewl. I hope your right. I don't like the idea of paying an extra $50 for that key, but I will have one.

Glenn, it's not actually cool unless you spell it "kewl" (see other posts).

Can someone post a pic of the key alone? I've seen that pic where it's hangin out of the ignition... any pics of the key itself?

That's not the key I'm refering to. The one I'm thinking of is the fob that is built into the key.

sweet key. I would prefer the integrated transmitter/key on most cars, but the STi key is very nice.

Hi mates,

FYI we get the transmitter/key for continental europe, and I expect you'll get same if door locking and anti-thief are std equipments for US market.

BUT the lightweight STi "type RA" key can be ordered and machined separately. Don't know anything bout anti-thief then ?

Sorry if this disapoints some, I felt too when I received mine...

Hopefully, you won't give a s*** as soon as you'll turn ignition ON
