Default How much you spend so far?

Sucks being an 18 year old with a mostly stock WRX. Well it doesn't suck, cause the car is awesome. And i'm sure all you older guys with jobs have been putting the expensive stuff in your car. Just wondering, but how much money have you guys been putting in your car already?

Hey buddy, I'm 19 and have about $1500 into mine. Start saving that Togo's money and start dumping it into your moving money pit.

well, i am 19 now, when i got my car i was 16 and 1/2.

my first car which was bought for me by my parents was a 2000 impreza 2.5 rs sedan

the mods off the top of my head

recaro srd's, 5zigen exhaust, sti version 5 struts, 5 zigen springs, sti top mounts, cusco f and r strut bars, fhi 18mm sway bar, speedline superturismos with kumho 712's, sti front lip and rear spats, replica rb5 wing, razo pedals, momo knob, and some other misc stuff.

i believe the money i spent on that car was about $7000

last summer i worked and saved up, sold my car to someone on i-club (who happens to be VERY cool and turned my car into the car seen on www.i-speedusa.com) and bought my wrx

so far on my wrx i have:
momo knob, zerosports push button started, sti grill, sti side markers, jic flt a2's, rota subzeros with yokohama avs es100, helix downpipe, and hks carbon ti exhaust with some other misc stuff.

i spent about $3000 so far.

i've been working every summer since i was 15 and i've put a lot of time and money into my car.

so that's my $.02

According to my data sheet 5932.58

but that includes my advan RG's, first set of Kumho tires

And not my second set of oem wheels.

so more like 3K for the other stuff.

-Cusco Front and Rear Strut Tower Bars $340
-Kartboy Aluminum Drop Links $100
-Kartboy Short Shifter $100

I've spent a little over $8000 on my WRX so far in the last 3 months, but it has definitely been worth every penny...

Lemme see (numbers are approx, but should be close):

Swaybars and associated mounts/links : $400
Coilovers : $1550
Interior stuff : $700
Stereo : $500
Exterior : $1000
Street tires/wheels : $900
Race Tires/wheels (first set) : $800
Race Tires/wheels (second set) : $900
Intake/Exhaust : $700
Alignments/Suspension Setup : $600

MINUS (i.e. sold) :

Race Tires/wheels : $300

So, looks like total damage is $7750. Good news is that I'm mostly done with the car (due to AutoX class restrictions), maybe $2K or so left to put into it (if that).

I run around $750 or so a year in AutoX tires.

Right now I'm only in to the car about $150 for gas

I've only had it two weeks though. My plans to start are front and rear anti-sway, then either new wheels and tires (damn re-92s) or springs/coilovers.

Sway bars should only be another month out though
