Default Broken Exhaust Bolts

Not on my Subaru, but I was helping my friend install a new driveshaft on his 300zx. We broke off the heads of the 3 bolts holding the exhaust to the collectors. So the broken bolts are difficult to reach. Any other solutions out there other than using an easy out?

how big are the bolts? dont' know if this will work, but for speedbleeders if you break one, they recommend drilling a small hole then trying to hammer in a hex bit to turn it out. then if that doesn't work, drill a bigger hole and use a bigger hex bit. maybe this and some liquid wrench will take the bolts out.
